Les Gravières is perhaps the most respected and well-known Premier Cru site in the Santenay appellation of Burgundy's Côte de Beaune. The 45 year old grapes come from the "Les Gravières" Premier Cru plot in the village of Santenay. "Les Gravières" vineyard is considered to be the best premier cru plot in Santenay. This is a well-built wine and has developed a fantastic floral bouquet. The mouth is often very large with bold tannins. This wine reminds us the Grands Crus from the Côte de Nuits
