Grapes were handpicked and transported to the winery to be destemmed and transferred into open stainless steel tanks. During fermentation, gentle pumping over ensured smooth extraction and elegant tannins. 10% of the blend was aged in French and American oak barrels for 8 months.
This ruby red wine exhibits medium concentration and a nose of cherry, raspberry, hints of dried herbs, and moist earth. The attack is elegant and features nice acidity and firm but silky tannins that bestow a rich structure. Expressive wild red fruit complemented by an appealing underbrush note.
