The Gevrey-Chambertin comes from eight different lieux-dits totaling 1.8 hectares, three on the “wrong side” of the RN74, and all over 50 years-old (the oldest parcel is more than 80 years-old). The grapes were destemmed, and after a three day cold soak were fermented in stainless steel with pump over and punch down during maceration. After three weeks, the wine was moved to barrels, where it underwent the malolactic and where it was matured for twelve months. The wine was bottled in March 2024. Jasper Morris, MW, called the Gevrey-Chambertin 2022 “stylish,” and Allen Meadows named it another “Outstanding Top Value.” Terry wrote: “There it is. The sweet spot for sure. Very Gevrey.”
