Timorasso is an ancient indigenous grape variety of Piemonte. The wine has an incredible structure and longevity. Delicate citrus and floral notes sing in concert leading to a vibrant long finish. The vineyards for this wine are located in the villages of Montemarzino, Montegioco and Monleale. Once harvested, the grapes are de-stemmed and pressed softly. Alcoholic fermentation is in temperature-controlled small steel tanks. The wine rests on its noble lees for 8 months. It is then filtered and bottle-aged for 3 more months before finally being released.
The wine delivers aromas of acacia honey, orange blossom. Elegant and complex on the mouth, with floral and mineral notes in perfect harmony with a distinct acidity. The wine finishes long and clean.
