La Cattura is one of the few Italian reds we've featured whose primary varietal is Teroldego. Normally found in Trentino (Northern Italy) the varietal is finding a new home among the sunny foothills and expanse of vineyards in Tuscany. What we love about Teroldego is the beautiful aromatics, complexity and structure with lower alcohol content (12.5%). It's an expression of organic viticulture. Medium-bodied, fresh, velvety with well-integrated tannins, and 12 months in French oak.
