Pinot Blanc has been described as the ‘Cinderella of the Pinot Family’. Often mistaken for Chardonnay, it is a mutation of the Pinot Noir grape and is very particular about where it grows. Fortuntately it is at home rooted into limestone soils, ripening by the lake and picked late to ensure optimal healthy ripeness. Austrians love this grape and produce a wine of fresh, fruity finesse that develops more complexity with age. A style similar to the famous friends from the Alto Adige.
Light yellow. Aromas of exotic fruit and pineapple. Juicy, mineral and medium bodied with notes of ripe fruit and citrus flavours.
