93 Points, Charles Curtis MW, Decanter: “This wine's ripe apple fruit aroma shows accents of butter, hawthorn flowers, and spice. The texture is ripe, and there is almost a suggestion of honey on the palate. However, the ripeness is not exaggerated, and balanced acidity brings this to a satisfying conclusion. The grapes come from Drouhin's two parcels that total 6.42 hectares in the zone on the southern edge of Beaune. They are pressed as whole clusters and fermented on native yeasts in cask (25% new). This will drink well young and should age nicely for a decade.” 10/22
