The Morey-Saint-Denis white wine comes from 2 parcels located within the climat Porroux, to the east of the village of Morey-Saint-Denis, on the bottom of the slope where the incline is the least steep. The vines face northeast. The Morey whites are situated just above the winery's parcel of Morey-Saint-Denis red. This particular spot was chosen for planting chardonnay because the RD 974 blocks the cold air which comes down the hillside and as it brings a natural acidity to the wine.
Aromas of citrus, white flowers, and perhaps a hint of stone fruit. The palate might reveal flavors of lemon, apple, and pear, with a minerally edge and well-integrated oak if the wine has seen any barrel aging. The texture is likely to be creamy with a crisp, refreshing finish.
