Critics have scored this as the best available Corton Les Marechaudes wine.
Critic tasting note: (2020 vintage) "The notes of flinty reduction pervade the ripe black cherry coulis on the nose. A lovely note of conifer lends perfume. The palate is dense, opaque, utterly concentrated. The tannins are ripe, dense, brushing like starched velvet. Thank heavens there is a backbone of utter freshness. This needs bottle age but it has all the stuffing it needs to age magnificently." - 96/100, Falstaff
