46% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Franc, 18% Syrah, 8% Malbec, 1% Cabernet Sauvignon

This estate is on a real roll: the 2019 expresses all the qualities of an exceptional vintage. On the nose, there’s blackberry, plum, some floral character, mint and pepper. The medium- to full-bodied palate is rich, with fruits of the forest, lifted acidity, finely grained tannins and a long finish. The notes of mint remind us of the wine’s Bordeaux roots. This is so cool and restrained considering the 15% alcohol. It’s deep and yet perfectly managed, a true gem in the wild south of the Languedoc. Drink 2024-2030.
