The parcels of vines selected for this wine stretch across terraces around the town of Ampuis on astonishingly steep slopes facing south. The climate shows great contrast between cold winters and hot summers. The schistous soil is perfect for Syrah which develops great complexity.

The wine displays distinctive elegance and great character, with a myriad of fruity, floral, spicy and vanilla aromas. A wine of great longevity.
