This five-year-old Speyside single malt is certified organic by the Soil Association Certification—a distinction not often seen on Scotch labels. The spirit inside has an enticing apple and pear aroma. The palate is relatively hot, leading with oak and spice into a long vanilla finish. Adding water softens the profile to vanilla cream, plus hint of lemon and ginger on long, drying finish.
