The name "Les Chenevottes" is a diminutive of hemp, which would have been grown here a long time ago. In total, only 10.99 ha of this appellation has been planted. The soil is stony and clayey, this terroir benefits from good exposure. The wines are intense and aromatic.
It has a superb balance on the palate with clear fruit aromas and liveliness with aromas of apple and lemon. The minerality and delicate lemon aromas are refined in the nose and mouth. The wine is complex with pure fruit with flavours of white pear in the aftertaste and a mineral touch.
